On May 31st, Sevierville will be joining together to fight cancer through the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. Relay For Life is a movement created for communities to unite together to end cancer through participation or donation. Relay for Life of Sevier County is a two day event that begins on Friday May 31st at 6 p.m. and lasts until Saturday June 1st at 2 p.m. The event will start at Patriot Park at 1 Old Mill Lane in Pigeon Forge.

Teams will join to take turns walking through the night and there will be food and activities. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community of Sevierville to come together to celebrate cancer survivors, raise awareness about the fight against cancer and honor the memory of lost loved ones. If you’re in the area, register to participate or donate now. If you aren’t in Sevierville, be sure to find out when a Relay for Life event is happening near you.
